Nutmeg Cottage Guest Book

Hi Shandon and Henry,

We are en route back to Martha's Vineyard and wanted to let you know what a GREAT time we had in Provo and staying at Nutmeg Cottage. The cottage was absolutely wonderful and perfect in every way. It felt like our island home! We will definitely be contacting you to make plans for next year. We are thinking that two weeks would be ideal so we can relax and spend more time at a slower pace (ie reading books by the pool or in the hammock)! All the books we brought along on vacation were not even opened as there was a lot to see and do in a short seven days.

We did quite a bit of exploring and appreciated your great dinner suggestions. We ate at Coco Bistro, Bay Bistro, Grace's Cottage, Parallel 23, Coyaba and Anacoana and had wonderful alfresco breakfasts and lunches poolside at Nutmeg Cottage.

You have a tremendous business and you have inspired me to add more detailed services with the vacation rentals we do through my company, Point B Realty on Martha's Vineyard.

Just  a follow-up from our visit to Nutmeg.  

We had a fantastic  time.  The villa and experience was just as advertised with NO  disappointments.  We really thank-you for a fantastic experience.   We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in grand style.   Hopefully we don't have to wait another 30 years to experience such a  place as Nutmeg.

Dear Henry or Dan,

We had a wonderful stay at your Nutmeg Cottage, in fact, we are finding it difficult to leave.

As a realtor and traveler, I knew to pack extra essentials such as body soap, dishing washing liquid, laundry soap, fabric softener, wine opener, champagne & wine stops, even paper towels and toilet paper. We came well equipped and found, to our amazement and pleasant surprise, that every need, every whim, was attended to at Nutmeg. Such a lovely home and perfectly appointed with all of the essentials!

As a builder/developer, Tom was impressed that virtually the only maintenance in Nutmeg is the baseboards. He found the home to be perfect and loved the idea that there was no drywall.

Henry's advice of Coco Bistro is the best! We may even eat there again tonight! It was a lovely setting and the food just might be the best on the island.

Even though we lost our deposit at the Comfort Suites, we don't mind. After a brief day on the island, we soon discovered that Turtle Cove was our preference due to the quaintness and quietness of the area. Therefore, we are choosing to spend our last night at the Turtle Cove Inn which suits us just fine!

We left Nutmeg with nothing but memories and a few small tokens of our appreciation for Pamela (whom we met at the home on the afternoon of our arrival), Andrea (our fantastic domestic goddess!!!---please note, we left a 'special' envelope intended only for her!) and our nameless/ faceless pool man who got his job completed before we could even meet him.

Your concept and creativity allowed us to enjoy all the conveniences of home, away from home. You're surely to receive many referrals from us and we look forward to returning.
