We had 5 couples with six children under the age of one, and we had an absolute blast! The house was perfect and beyond our expectations.

Villa Vieux Caribe is a treasure. We had 11 people, lots of kids, and we all had to much room to do what we wanted. The location of the villa is fabulous and the access to Taylor Bay Beach with magnificent sunsets EVERY night only added to the charm. We all wanted to stay forever!!

In our ordinary, frenetic lives, we are burdened with the stress and pressing needs of day-to-day existence. Time moves much too quickly, and life is a jumble and blur of reactions to immediate crisis. No one stops to watch the color of the sky, or to notice the sound leaves make when blown by the wind. Want to see -- Providenciales rewards the watchers with the gift of time. For those like me whose ordinary lives are full of crisis and emotion, Provo offers something of an echo of our youth's.

The time to dive off French Cay or West Caicos and to see a Spotted Eagle Ray or a reef shark. The time to bone fish surrounded by lemon sharks, nurse sharks and egrets. The time to watch a golden globe sun sink beneath the chalky green ocean. The time to do absolutely nothing. To watch our 13-month old daughter discover a swimming pool, and learn to love to splash. The time to spend two weeks with my parents, a rare event for a 36-year-old with a baby daughter; but a wonderful chance again to enjoy the passage of time, and see my parents as human beings.

In every childhood there is a summer -- a summer where time goes on forever -- the air too slow; and everything drags on like a slow moving train. When we are young, we long for the fall -- the beginning of school and our future. When we are older, like I am now, we savor the moment, enjoy the calm, languish in the still air, and giggle at the slow moving clouds.

In short, thank you for two, slow, hot, humid, and absolutely glorious weeks of slow moving, long hot days. I feel like a kid again, when life was eternal, when summer was endless, and where anything was possible. Say what you will about Provo, but to me it was two weeks of time that seemed like I was alive and well and living for now and forever. The color of the water is emblazoned on my eyes -- green and pink.

When we first arrived at Villa Vieux Caribe, we were completely overwhelmed. It happened the moment we walked in and has not ended yet even though we have to leave this paradise in about three hours (3:00 AM). I have never enjoyed myself more, nor have I ever asked anyone to marry me until I came here. It was just the perfect setting for me to ask the woman of my dreams to marry me. She said yes, and I thank God. This island is almost magical and it is terribly hard to leave and go back to reality. But I have a wonderful life to get home to and I am excited. We will definitely be back and will stay here or at any of the beautiful homes which Henry and his wife have. They are all beautiful and inviting. May everyone who visits here have as wonderful a time as we did.

Dear Henry,

I cannot begin to describe how WONDERFUL our vacation at Vieux Caribe was. We love to travel and have visited many great places as a couple and as a family but we all agree that this was the BEST vacation yet. The pictures we took cannot possibly do it justice... absolutely beautiful. And we have had a very hard time even describing it to people... you just can't explain it, can you? The fact that we were able to have fun AND relax with four little kids in tow is the most amazing part. I don't think our two oldest, Rachel and Luke, came up for air the whole time!! They loved snorkeling out to the little reef off the dock. And the beach was perfect for the kids to play and dig in the sand and swim. We took a half day trip with Captain Bill at Ocean Outback and had a great time. The boys were really impressed with the pirate cave. He also took us to snorkel at Turtle Rock and to a remote beach for a picnic and play time. Anyway, we are all ready to pick up and move there!!

I just wanted to write and tell you that my friends and I had a magnificent vacation! Villa Vieux Caribe is gorgeous and the brochure does not do it justice. All the comforts of home as well as more were provided. You left nothing forgotten.

March 14 - 22

This was our first trip to Turks and Caicos and certainly will not be our last; we just aren't ready to leave today! We have rented homes for vacations in other places, but none compare to what we have experienced here. Your home is beautiful, well appointed, and most of all, very clean! Betty Mae, at the management company, was friendly and helpful. The sunsets were incredible and the atmosphere so peaceful. We look forward to the coming years at Vieux Caribe!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Everything about this place is breath taking. The past 8 days here have been memorable beyond compare. Scott, my soul mate and life partner asked me to marry him here at Vieux Caribe. We are planning to return to the island and have our wedding in this area. This is my second time to visit Provo and it is still my favorite, natural place in the world. The house and the views make it even better.

This place was such a surprise to us. Not only is the water the most beautiful color I have ever seen, but the people are so cordial and helpful. Thank you for sharing your paradise with us. And if you ever need a snorkeling guide, Delroy is the perfect person!

Today is my departure, and I leave 6 friends behind to enjoy all that this beautiful place has to offer. A year has passed since my last visit, and I can't believe all the beauty that has grown up around Vieux Caribe. The colors are radiant and are a perfect blend against the blue backdrop of the ocean. This place has a spirit and reminds one about the important things in life. I will take all the lessons that the ocean can teach and mix them into my daily routine. The week was amazing and I wish all who enter here equal joy!

Henry, one year ago, nine friends got together for a vacation at Vieux Caribe. We had a spectacular time. It was during this week that my life took an unexpected turn. I met a man who completely changed my life. I was extremely happy before I met him. A full life filled with wonderful friends, an exciting career with lots of travel and content with the fact that I may never marry. I met Jim here at Vieux Caribe. So your house is magical. We will be getting married very shortly. This is a happy story.

Although I did not meet my true love, like another young lady who stayed here, I would have to say that everything else was a perfect "10!" Pictures do not do justice to your lovely homes in this very special paradise and I thank you for allowing me to share it with you! A bieutot ici, j'espere!

August 17 - 24

Betcha we came the furthest to get to Vieux Caribe...!! All the way from li'l ole England - Liverpool to be precise (yeh, where the Beatles were from!) We've enjoyed our stay so, so much - the views are breathtaking. You simply never tire of them... (sigh..) Millions of photos will help to keep them alive in our memories! Henry, you are a genius, your vision to build this house (and the others) at this location and the impeccable taste with which you furnished it... we take our hats off to you, sir! The whole island is magical, but especially this little corner. We'll never forget our special holiday in Turks and Caicos - it was worth the stress involved in trying to obtain flights!!

Dear Henry and Dinah,

What can I say but thank you! I think the best comment of the week was John's when he said "this is the only place I have ever been that outdoes the brochure!" We have enjoyed our little piece of borrowed Heaven immensely. Our little band of intrepid travelers will return. The house is beautiful! Our treks around the island let us enjoy the friendly spirit and all the restaurants were great - especially Sharkbite! The swimming off the dock is fantastic! We hope to always have the opportunity to return to Vieux Caribe!

January 25 to Feb 1

Outstanding! Thank you, Henry. Fabulous week of snorkling at Smith's Reef, scuba diving, snorkeling with a school of 40 dolphins, watching the sunset from the third floor balcony (fabulous!) and eating! Our infant swam for the first time in the pool and in the ocean. We leave with memories of the beauty and tranquility of Vieux Caribe and its setting.

March 22 - April 1

Well, here we are again, 1 year later, and not wanting to leave. We made it over to the conch shacks and Smokey's was one of our favorite this year. Sunsets were gorgeous... 5:30pm on the beach every night. Tiki Hut is a must visit for good atmosphere. Have to go to the airport, but we will hopefully see you next year for a three-peat.

This house is magnificent. It is the perfect floor plan. The views are breathtaking. We have truly enjoyed every minute here -- from canon balling off the deck, to watching our girls read in the hammocks and play in the pool, to cooking together at night and watching the sunset as a family. The color of the water is almost "surreal". Thank you for time spent as a family in a little "slice of heaven". Sincerely...
